So… in 2006 this couple from Colorado, Erica and Matt Hogan bought 600 acres of land in Costa Rica which was otherwise going to be deforested.
Once bought they decided that with all the big, fat trees around, instead of building a regular house, they would build a tree house.
They talked to friends and family about possibly investing in their land. Those who were interested were also pumped by the couples’ treehouse wanted one of their own.
Thus over the past 7 years a tree house village has gradually been built.
There is even a bar and yes, there is WIFI.
The treehouses have running water using gravity-fed water systems which pull water from a nearby spring and of course collected water.
I’m a having a difficult time giving you interesting information because i’m breathing so heavy…
