Hidee ho, all. The new album, Nash Harding & The Secret Of The Twisted Tower, a hippiepunk pulp opera, is almost finished and will be released last week of September. Featuring Kerttu Aarnipuu and Hayley Warner, with a guest appearance by Jessica Law and a surprise guest appearance to be named later. Special thanks to Lauren Osborn for helping with background vocals. (We’re still fighting over whether i’m allowed to let everyone live. Her argument is that because Katy Shaw was such an upbeat album with no on album deaths i should be less nice this time around. I’m fighting, though. I’m trying…)
The Patreon Listening Party will be on Sunday, Sept 20th, 8 PM European time, 7PM UK time and 2 PM US East Coast. Further details will be announced on Patreon this week.
General audience listening party will be on Sunday, Sept 27th, 8 PM European time, 7PM UK time, and 2 PM US East Coast.
To warn you, this album is LONG. It’s almost an hour and 40 minutes. The general audience listening party will run 2 hours with a 5 to 10 minute intermission at the halfway point. During the intermission you can catch each other up as to what is happening. The story is actually very simple, which seems odd for the insanely long run time. The songs can also be pretty darn long. Despite this i apologize for nothing.)
The album will be released somewhere between 24 and 72 hours after the general listening party. So put those flowers in your hair, wave the peace fingers, smoke your filthy wacky tabacky, and get ready for a 60s psychedelic album set in the early Atompunk era (“But paul, it’s early atompunk shouldn’t it be 50s music instead of 60s psychede….” Shhh. Shhhh. Just relax and come along for the ride.) The most far out grooviest sounds to drive the New Albion peace train since the voodoopunks discovered blotters. Get on the bus of flower power!
