I’m in the mood for this song, so we’re gonna listen to it.
I realize it seems a little strange to have a song called Cthulhu be in fact a pretty straight forward old school style r&b ballad. It’s off my Cthulhu: The Funksical song cycle, a humorous, funky, musical story about some of Lovecraft’s more famous monstrous entities. Within the context of the story having the Cthulhu song be a straight ahead heartbreak ballad is… well, i found it funny.
But funny or not, i set out to make an emotional and moving song, and today i’m gonna play it for you.
