““The only great problem of cinema seems to be more and more, with each film, when and why to start a shot and when and why to end it.” – Jean-Luc Godard
This is a pretty damn cool short vid which examines film editing and the world it creates by comparing Italian director Vittorio De Sica’s movie Terminal Station and American producer David O. Selznick’s cut of the same movie.
It’s a wonderful, fascinating little 5 minute video that is SO worth your time.
