I saw in an earlier post that you were okay with animatics of the songs, I was wanting to do a thing for DoNA but I wanted to know if you had an idea of what the characters looked like when making it. Like ethnicity and eye color and the like. There weren’t really any hint in the background things. If you’d rather I didn’t do anything that’s fine too! I just really love this tetratrilogy
I don’t give in depth character descriptions so that listeners and performers can come up with their own vision. I never mind people doing animatics so you can go nuts with it. Good luck!
I figured it’s what you were doing, creative interpretations are powerful things for an audience to have. Alright, how about the reverse of that, is there anything you’d be absolutely against for certain characters? Like a massive eye tattooed in the middle of Annabel’s forehead (I’m not going to do that, but I can’t think of something off the top of my head). And that is surprisingly relaxed of you, so thank you, I’ll be plastering your name everywhere it should be and I’d like to link it. Is there a preferred place you’d like things linked to? Like for music, yourself, etc? I know your music is on a few platforms.

Whats your process for writing stories (If that makes any sense I’m not sure if. it does) . You’ve created a large universe with multiple stories. How’d you start,how’d you figure out where to go? I’m sorry if this is a bit of a confusing message
When you started the steampunk Opera did you expect the universe of new albion to become as large as it is today?
Im not sure what my process is. I usually think of an visual image and extrapolate a story from that. Dolls came from the image of a mad scientist standing behind a seated frankenstein monster.
When i started i had no plans for an extended universe, but now that i’ve decided to embrace it i can really play with it, as you’ll see in the upcoming biopunk fairytale.

It’s explained in Gabriella Gadfly, but bascially they were trying to prevent their future selves from detroying the entire city of New Albion.
In hindsight i do wish i had made the end of Lost Hollow a bit clearer. Mary and Henry are in Lost Hollow, willingly, and they will grow it and take care of it. Han Mi is off doing her own thing. What exactly that is we will learn more about as the Fairypunk series progresses, but we know she has met Lloyd and agreed to take him to Raven’s Carnival. You should really listen to Uncle Raven’s Storytime Theatre next and after that The Forgotten Meme if you haven’t already. So there are people on youtube who make animatics or PMVS with music from musicals. Sometimes just making the scenes from the musicals WITH The characters within the musicals or sometimes using their own characters. would you be alright with people doing this with your music?

I’m not sure anyone knows for sure, it there doesn’t seem to have ever been any child posties, so it seems you may need to reach a certain level of physical maturity before you can flower, possibly over 17.

There’s no way Byron would have gone to Elysium. He was reincarnated and is out there somewhere in the wheel.
when reincarnation occurs. Does the previous version of the soul get completely erased? or is it filled away like in a computer. While the new version is the one in control. Could there ever be possibilities of remembering old lives?
After death one remembers past lives. Certainly when one hits Elysium. The previous version of the soul… does your childhood get erased when you become a teenager? Is the teen erased by the adult? It’s just the single soul going through different evolutions, just not remembering the past.
Extremely doubtful. The story of Rachael and that entire soul is done. The Space Opera is on hold, as i didn’t like the plot, but I don’t expect to ever return to Rachael.
As much as I’ll miss the character, I know that if you brought her back you’d probably destroy her even more. So in the end, it’s probably for the better that things stay the way they are for her. She was awesome, though.
No! They were not. But like everyone else, they have the capacity to be. Rachael moreso, but she hadn’t reached it yet. It’s like language, one has the capacity for it, and in reincarnation has that capacity every life, but still must acquire it/ learn it in order to have it.
I would add, this situation is rather.. unique. Rachael’s odds of regaining post humaness were immensely favorable and would be when such situations exist
You referred to Elysium as being in Inner Space, is there any chance we’ll see Rachael return as a post-human in the space opera? (The reveal about Constance in See Our Show was awesome)
If reincarnation does’t go linearly, is it possible that 7285/Thomas/Lee were reincarnated into Jasper after the AO?
Reincarnation goes linearly 99 percent of the time. There’s an occasional hiccup. But not with Jasper. He was not anyone else we’ve met yet.

We know her previous incarnation was Alexander from Room Beneath. There’s a theory that she became John from NARH.
I have to ask. Because its been bugging me. Would you say Jasper Hates Annabelle and Edgar? Or any of the mcalistars for that matter (excluding Priscilla and Fay of course)
I don’t think Jasper hated Annabel in Act 1. She annoyed him and he thought she was a nut, but she also did the right thing in the end. After being brought back the 2nd time and spending years sitting there he did grow to resent the very idea of her. Edgar he hated from the start. Pure hate.
Was she ever forgiven? Did they ever see eachother in the afterlife or did she get reincarnated ?
Can we have a character bio on “The Demon” from Fallen? With the release of URSHFC we get absolute proof that the stories are connected. Also, It would be interesting to go as far back as Cuthulu Musical and have a Bio on the “Gypsy Lady”, “The Boy”, and “The Witch”, as there’s a hidden little detail that tells that this takes place prior to DONA.
I would really love more background content of the Atompunk Opera’s characters too! I’ve been studying the lyrics and would love to get some theories I have proven right or wrong 🙂

When is Constance background going to be finished?
I’d actually like a character bio on Lloyd. I’m struggling to understand what exactly his role is beyond as a narrator. It seems him and Jackie have some influence on the story and interfere with it in a way but it’s a bit lost on me. I assume he is the second man in the substation when John enters?
Lloyd’s role is purposely left ambiguous. In a nutshell, he is operating on slightly different, let’s say hyper reality level then the normal world. This is not so different then the Narrator in the Steampunk Opera. However, as where the steampunk Opera Narrator is benevolent, Lloyd is not so much. Lloyd doesn’t offer advice for the good of the characters, but would sacrifice any of them if he thought it would make a better story.
Jackie is a normal person, with the same influence on events anyone else has. However, at some point in her past she achieved some kind of…. ability to see the world for what it is and even some sight beyond. She is thus aware of Lloyd.
There is a theory that Lloyd lives in Elysium and the broadcast is a way in which he is trying to get back at New Albion for the Doll fiasco of the Steampunk Opera, attempting to influence events from the infra/hyper space that is Elysium. We’ll discuss this a bit more in the Atompunk Opera.
Since the Dieselpunk Opera is out, can we have a character background for Thomas? He was a pretty major character even though he is not an O’Brien.
I purposely didn’t post a character background on thomas because of the reveal. Now that it’s out i may in fact do so with a spoiler warning, but i will wait a bit more. Also, the Constance background is wrong. I need to take it down and do a rewrite. The background i wrote (before making the 2nd Act) changed as i wrote the act. Your comment has reminded me to take it down. I’ll post a new one in a day or so, and… let me decide what to do about Thomas’s background.
This was posted over a year ago and no link to Constance’s story. Is the one I found from another link correct?
I aim to please, however, i would point out that Act 4 centers around Priscilla and Jasper both of whom have character backgrounds. I honestly don’t believe Soldier 7285 needs a background. The only background i always meant to write down (i ‘ve already thought about it in my head) is for Act 3 character Amelia.
After I read priscilla’s bio I realized it was act 4, my mistake.
