Well THIS is rather interesting.
Heliofant, a small independent animation studio based out of Montreal has made this REALLY interesting short which passionately depicts the film makers’ thoughts on the political and spiritual state of the current world. Heavy handed? Definitely, but even so, they do it WELL and there’s a lot of nice symbolic touches. The thought and passion of this short really shines and i love deciphering all the little vignette metaphors that comprise it.
Just an fyi, Pet Goat is the book President Bush was reading to a classroom of children when 9/11 happened.
