Tomorrow i leave to go to Belgrade so that i can catch a Friday morning flight to Helsinki, Finland, where i will be torturing recording Kerttu Aarnipuu. After that, the next week will be spent mixing her vocals into an otherwise pretty finished album. In honor of James Gibson’s birthday, the album will be out by June 30th.

  1. I love them both! Personally I feel the first one is cooler, though the second one has it’s charms as well. Thicker letters also make it easiest to read over the brightly coloured background

    1. I’d say take a look at essentially the second font in Bold if you have the time, but if not use the first font.

  2. The first one is easier to read, so the title may better stand out in peoples’ minds, but I prefer the look of the second. They are both fantastic.

  3. The first one looks better and is easier to read, but the second exaggerates the image better rather than drawing focus to the text. Overall, I’d say the first.

  4. I think the first one is more cyber but the second one looks more natural and blends better with the art so I’d go with the second

  5. I really like the first one, though I’m probably biased since I’m obsessed with 80s cyberpunk aesthetic.

  6. I think the first one might be easier to read, the second is just a touch too thin and almost blends in with the colors of the background. The first one definitely stands out a lot more.

  7. I prefer the look of #1, but probably the more important factor is where this series is going to go. #1 looks very cyberpunky, which ties into the album theme/setting, but if the upcoming albums aren’t cyberpunk then you’ll want to come up with a different theme-appropriate font for each of them if you go with #1 for this. If you go with #2, then you’ve got a more generic font which would probably be able to be used consistently for the whole series.
