We’re going to do some posts highlighting some music that i think falls under Atompunk, at least to me.
It’s relatively recent int he scheme of things (but seems pretty old when i think about how long it was i first was listening to it) but Moon Safari by Air is totally Atompunk. It’s got this 70s soft rock vibe with these analogue synth sounds that seem exactly like what the sound of the future would have been in the 60s. It’s all utterly futuristic retro. Atompunk.
