In 1932 a grocer in Worksop (that’s in England) died and his grief stricken sons and wife decided to leave the house exactly as it was. Well, now it’s 82 years later, the last son is dead and he bequeathed it to the National Trust. The home looks exactly as it did in 1932 and offers a fascinating glimpse into the daily life of a family back then, namely that of William Straw, a grocer.
