As we prepare for the release of The Broken Cyborg, A Biopunk Fairytale in exactly 1 week, here’s a thing put together by Some Draogns that i’ve never shared.
The last of the vocals are all coming in today. Liel’s very last takes have already arrived and vocals for The Mayor by Vivian Moonic are coming late tonight, my time. I cannot mix them properly in until tues as i’m in Belgrade for my wife’s mother’s birthday, but i did bring my laptop to plug them in and check for issues.
I may or may not do a surprise, one time, online streaming playthrough on thursday, march 7th at 9pm my time (Central European Standard) so don’t get your hopes up. It’s just a thought. I’d need to find a method to actually do so and i havent even looked for one becuase i’ve been doing nothing but mixing and editing.
Anyway, here is a flowchart that perfectly sets all my albums in their proper order and timeline. Don’t worry about the NADS only stuff. Most of it got released as The Adams Arc/ Early Works. Red River is a terrible failure of an album from when i was young and has no relation to the New Albion timeline. (There was talk about it being the lost show that Sarah wrote with Raven & Lloyd, but that doesnt fit this album. That more properly fits the short story The Red River i wrote a couple years afterwards which ive never released). You’re not missing anything, nor EchoLocation which is an uncompleted album from some time back and whose only claim to fame is having some early versions of songs that have since found their way into later works.
Well, look at me babble. Probably because im sitting in a cafe waiting for my movie to start. I live far from any movie theaters, so it’s a rarity for me to get to go see a movie in the theater. When i come to Belgrade i always go see a film and get a ginormous bucket of popcorn, far bigger than i humanly need, which i eat until i hate myself. The movie pick at the moment is pretty slim. It came down to Alita:Battle Angel vs. Escape Room. I’ve chosen Alita Battle Angel and have to waste another 40 minutes until go buy popcorn and see it.
So, flowchart. That’s fun. Biopunk album: almost here. See you all soon.
