Don’t ask me why someone would dedicate themselves to making these things. It’s not that they’re not awesome, \u00a0they’re totally awesome. It’s just…. their possible uses kind of creep me out.<\/p>\n

These are made by Tom Banwell. It’s his thing, making really, really creepy steampunk masks.<\/p>\n

The best intended use i can dream up would be some Mad Max Road Warrior kind of film, set in a post\u00a0apocalyptic\u00a0steampunk world. That would be killer.<\/p>\n

It’s the sex that scares me.<\/p>\n

It’s like… there’s a nightclub in a dark city where the people attending all wear these masks and have an orgy. And it’s… a horrible thought.<\/p>\n

So let’s be clear, Road Warrior wasteland… awesome. Orgy…. NOT COOL.<\/p>\n

What would be cool is to wake someone up wearing one of these.<\/p>\n
